sick childHere is one of our orphans. 3 years old, too weak to walk. He was infected through breastfeeding. He has developmental problems due to AIDS. Breast milk is the best food for a newborn baby. But when the mother is infected with HIV/AIDS, the breast milk is also infected, therefore, breastfeeding (without treatment) increases the risk of transmission of HIV from the mother to the child by 20% (WHO). In many countries in Africa, many mothers living with HIV/AIDS have no access to treatment. They breastfeed their newborn babies due to lack of money to buy milk (formula), thus infecting their babies with HIV through breastfeeding. babyfeedThe Shiloh Healthcare Center provides HIV/AIDS prevention services and milk (formula) for these babies. We need your help to purchase milk (formula) for the HIV/AIDS positive mothers in Chad (Central Africa) who cannot afford to buy milk (formula) for their newborn babies. $50 will buy a month supply of formula for a newborn baby in Chad. Thank you for your donation or monthly pledge to support the Shiloh Ministries. To donate money for milk for the babies born from HIV/AIDS positive mothers, please click the Donate button ERROR: The IP key is no longer supported. Verse of the Day

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7 (NKJV)
